- I could not mail this directly to `vulture' (Thomas Sippel - Dau)

- *We have a need for an xterm-like program that could be used to run
- *with programs expecting a Tektronix 4100 to 4200 series terminal.
- *The programs run on a VAX under VMS, the terminal emulator should
- *run on an X11 based workstation (DECstation, Indigo, Sparcstation ...)
- *
- *Free software would be preferable, but affordable low-cost solutions
- *will also be welcome. Any bumf, hype, pointers or press releases will
- *be very much appreciated.

- Digital does sell a Tektronix 4125 emulator that runs in both VMS
- and Ultrix environments under DECwindows. You can run the terminal
- emulator on the VAX/VMS machine, setting the DISPLAY to your X11 based
- workstation, if that workstation is not a DEC machine. You can run
- the emulator on a DECstation or VAXstation and `dlogin', `rlogin' or
- `set host' as appropriate and as needed.
-
- Contact your local Digital Sales office for pricing. Ask for the
- ``DECwindows 4125 Emulator''.
