  26. I don't know of a utility.  Certainly it would be possible to write
  27. one.  If I recall correctly much of the original Fast File System code
  28. was tested in user mode.  If you can't find one, I'm sure you can find
  29. someone to contract for a couple of months to write one.

  31. The other side of reading a VMS file system under ULTRIX would probably
  32. have similiar difficulty.  If you really want to get fancy you might even
  33. be able to add kernel support for it through the file system switch.
  34. This was partly done during the advanced development work for the
  35. file system switch.  A paper was presented at a USENIX discussing
  36. the file systems that were added.  That code is probably long
  37. archived though.
