-
- Wrong! I have an action replay mark 6 profesional at home, and I have yet
- to come across _any_ cart that offers the same functionality, ease of use
- and reliability.
-
- Personally I mainly use it for development work; being able to freeze the
- action, mod a few variables here, a few instructions there, set a break point,
- continue, freeze again if it still ain't working and doesn't hit the breakpoint..
- Great fun!
-
- Also really usefull for putting demos into a single file etc.
- I have had no problems backing up single load games with it. (very usefull
- for things like Total Eclipse, where the original is so _slow_ to load..)
-
- However, i have had little success backing up recent multiloads. I bought
- turrican a while back, and have yet to find a copier that will back up my
- original. (Mind you, I could have obtained a pirate copy a month before
- mine arived mail order from the UK...)
-
- It seems if you really want backups, and you also want to suport the authors,
- you really need to buy the original _and_ get a cracked, pirate copy.
-
- sigh.
-
- Fun all,
