  12. I have a quirky Comm64 that served me well as a word processor for
  13. eight years, database holder for a 400 person newpaper route for two
  14. years, a tutor for my kids and as textfile holder for my genealogy
  15. until I upgraded when the kids entered High School. I would like to give
  16. it to a single mother who has gotten her life back on track and is
  17. entering a two year college in the fall but I would like to correct the
  18. problem as it has gotten worse over the years and is quite frustrating.
  19. It is heat sensitive. I checked into new power supplies and found them
  20. to be $79.00, repaired $50. My teenagers and I can handle repairs but we
  21. don't have the knowledge what is wrong. From reading this newsgroup I
  22. understand this is a common problem. Anybody got a cheap repair?
