- I have a quirky Comm64 that served me well as a word processor for
- eight years, database holder for a 400 person newpaper route for two
- years, a tutor for my kids and as textfile holder for my genealogy
- until I upgraded when the kids entered High School. I would like to give
- it to a single mother who has gotten her life back on track and is
- entering a two year college in the fall but I would like to correct the
- problem as it has gotten worse over the years and is quite frustrating.
- It is heat sensitive. I checked into new power supplies and found them
- to be $79.00, repaired $50. My teenagers and I can handle repairs but we
- don't have the knowledge what is wrong. From reading this newsgroup I
- understand this is a common problem. Anybody got a cheap repair?
