- What errors are you getting on the PC when you try to write to a 1571 formatted
- disk? Or are you saying that you can write files on the PC and not read
- them back again on the 1571? If the latter is your problem, then that's
- understandable. PC's have the same problem when switching between 360K
- and 1.2 M drives. Technically HD floppy drives read fat tracks, but
- write skinny ones. If a fat track has a skinny track written over part
- of it, a DD drive can have problems reading it back.

- That's because of the above problem. Have you bulk erased the disk
- before formatting it on the 1.2M drive? Sometimes that helps.
