  10. So, here's the problem.  I've got a 3B2-400 running 3.1 and
  11. when I try to use layers, here's what I get:

  13. $ shl
  14. no control channels available (errno=6)
  15. $

  17. There are plenty of sxt devices in the /dev directory (sxt000 thru
  18. sxt057) and /dev/sxt directory (000 thru 057).  It doesn't work
  19. when I'm root, either, so I can't see it's a permissions problem.
  20. Anybody know what's going on here?  Error number 6 is supposed to
  21. be "No such device or address".  Thank you one and all for any advice.
