- You BIOS version should display when the system goes through its inital
- checks when booting. You need to upgrade to ROM-BIOS 1.43 with a PAL-90
- chip as well. I don't think you can buy them anywhere except through a
- place that is a mail-order AT&T supplier. I unfortunately can't
- remember their name, and I don't have the phone number any more either,
- but call AT&T technical support, BEG them (and BEGGING WILL BE
- NECESSARY) to tell you the phone number without charging you an arm and
- a leg for a tech support call (I refused to tell them my name, phone
- number, address, or credit card number, but kept calling their 800
- number and beggin until they put me through to a tech who gave me the
- correct phone number in 10 seconds.) I think the upgrade cost between
- $35-45 dollars. (by the way, the ROM BIOS 1.43 and the PAL-90 chip come
- as a complete upgrade set with thorough instructions - very easy to do
- if you are used to opening your computer).

- WAIT - maybe I found the number! In my upgrade package sitting in a
- desk drawer, the documentation has 1-800-922-0354, which is supposed to
- be the AT&T Information Systems Service Hotline. Maybe they'll help, or
- maybe they are the ones who sold it to me - I don't remeber.
- -
- Sorry if this has sounded confused.
