- I'm having trouble with my Atari 1040ST, TOS 1.4 recognize my external
- disk drive. When I try to get the disk directory, it would display:
- Drive B: is not responding
- Please check the disk drive
- or insert a disk.
-
- The disk is okay on my internal drive. The drive mechanism is a
- TEAC drive. There are a bunch of jumper settings which I have
- no idea what it should be set to.
-
- They are US1, US0, RE, M1, M0, MS, D3, D2, D1, D0, and FG. I
- figure the D0-D3 are the drive selectors, but I don't know about
- the rest of them. Currently, I've closed the MS, D0, and FG
- jumpers. Any ideas what it should really be set to.
