- to answer your question, gcc .o's are in unix a.out format. the
- details of the format may be found in utilsrc/gnu-out.h, the
- symbol table stuff in <stab.h> and <stab.def>, and a paper that may
- help to (if you are not familiar with a.out) in
- documentation/aout.ms.
