  21. I agree that an 'jet type printer is best for graphics, but I humbly submit
  22. that there is a place for fast dot matrix printers.

  24. I use both, with the main job of the dot matrix being to print programs and
  25. documentation on fan-fold paper.  It is much easier (for me) to use printouts
  26. that continue from one page to the next and always stay in sequence.  A simple
  27. A/B switchbox allows me to go from one to the other as needed.

  29. On the subject of jet printers, its also possible to get 'personal' duty
  30. laser printers for less than $500 now, so they might be an alternative to
  31. using INK technology.  Personal duty being 4 pages per minute or so, like the
  32. Okidata model.
