- Can someone tell me a *legal* way to test the 'Carrier Detect' status of
- a modem on an RS232 serial port? The method must be able to work for all
- serial ports which support the DCD line (including the additional Mega-STE/
- TT ones). I assume this rules out using the MFP interrupt - and anyway, I
- just want to test for it periodically, rather than have an interrupt handler
- continuously monitoring it.
