- When booting up one's ST, doesn't one usually switch the monitor on first?
- I've been doing this for quite a long time now, but it doesn't seem to work
- anymore. Let me explain. If I switch on my monitor, then my 1040st, the
- screen will stay totally black, and when the desktop appears, it will be
- colored some odd purple, be totally twisted an bent looking, and after about
- half a second, will dissapear altogether. BUT, if I then proceed to switch the
- monitor off, and then on again, everything looks peachy-keen. Argh.
- I've got a 1040st, SC1224 color monitor, a DS internal drive, and a SF314
- hooked up as a second drive. Any ideas on what's up with my ever-so-odd
- monitor problem?
