- I spend all day working with computers, so I don't go home and hack with
- them very much anymore. However, the Falcon could be a KILLER video game
- machine, that will do lots of other things if the need arises.
-
- My baseline for games (that I have played so far) is
- 'Chuck Yeagars Air Combat'. If I see a combat simulator that is as good
- or better than that, another really good game or two, and it will run some
- decent productivity software, I will buy one.
-
- Around here, a 386-25/4Mb/80M HD/SVga machine is ~$1500 CDN. The Falcon
- looks to be fairly price-competitive with that. (a small price premium is
- fine, because I hate PC's. And, if I ever find the time or inclination to
- go back to hacking at home, it sure as hell won't be on a PC)
-
- Well, developer-dudes (and damsels?), I am waiting. (And I don't mind
- spending money on GOOD software!)
