I don't agree with Mr. Martin in his first statement. 1) The falcon is not a a high end business system, so you can't expect it to be pure state of the art. It lacks serios internal expansion such as VME, not to diss what it has for internal expansion.2) For features it rivals NOTE!! The latest Apple Lc and surpasses it in features by a longshot. It's rivals are the Mac Classic II and 386 Sx's.It beats the Classic in price, features and performance and beats the
SX's in sound,I/O,price, and frames/sec but not in video resolution.

Just a bunch of other things that are/were long overdue. I must also add my own comments. The ST line are great bunch of systems but are destined to failure if Atari does not advertise over some major channel (e.g. MTV) or do some major promo. America does not know about the great American ST.
>And Atari didn't show any STEs.
So what's new, would you show a system that HAS THE POTENTIAL OF BECOMING A DOG
NOTE a) the Falcon 040 is going to be a souped up TT + 040+ Falcon features.
b) Atari is yet to scr*w up it's users again so don't be hasty to crave for a
Falcon. And don't expect superior Pc emulation or 386+387 combination, remember the ABAQ, cp/m for 8-bit, TT unix ( not yet released), and the STT no dealer in the U.S. knows what it is and what means to a local harry.
c) Pray for a multiprocessing feature on the Falcon040 e.g. (68000+486 with VMe
+ EISA), also realise the Falcon has no external floppy port ( as noted in the sept issue of Atari advantage). Commodore is going to see hell (A600 and A500 are well behind the times sorry to say
from Rensselaer Poly NY. Please also send info on all ST ftp addresses and somexplanation on WHAT HAPPENED TO THE PARSEC GRAPHIC INTERFACE.
