- The DSP port can output whatever it wants to, the key here is that it's a
- _digital_ port (most computer ports are :) and the output is completely
- software controllable. So, if you wanted to send all 8 channels through
- the DSP output to an external box which could do a D/A conversion and/or
- mixing, you could have 8-channel (or 4-channel stereo) sound output. However,
- this would require the extra hardware, i.e. some sort of interface to plug
- into the DSP port (well, that IS what it's for right, to plug extra things
- onto). Anyone else wondering how we're going to plug 10 million interfaces
- onto the DSP port? Perhaps a DSP port switchbox could be a lucrative device
- to make. :-)

- The official word is limited supply by mid to late October, so talk to your
- dealer a bit before then if you want to order one, I would imagine.
