  14.     Hi all!

  16.     I just wanted to thank all those people who responded to my plea for
  17. help with Connect and also with XYZ2.01.

  19.     My problems with 8/none were solved by going to the "kompatibility"
  20. menu and selecting "strip 8th bit".  Now emacs and normal terminal stuff is
  21. very happy.

  23.     By going to 8/none, it also solved my problem with XYZ - as a poster
  24. noted earlier, XYZ only works with 8/none, so it now works within Connect.

  26.     Now that XYZ works, it autosenses a zmodem download and that works
  27. fine.

  29.     Now all I have to do is get a screen accelerator and GDOS working, 
  30. and my terminal stuff should be awsome (not to mention installing MiNt, but
  31. I think that may have to wait awhile...:(  )

  33.     I must admit though - it feels funny needing a screen accelerator
  34. for my TT to get display speed to catch up with 14.4k (roughly) bps screen
  35. updates.
