- Well, my version (can't remember which it is, since I am without a color
- display of any kind right now) starts acting wierd after an hour or so of
- use. The floppy disk is accessed for no apparent reason, again and again,
- with increasing frequency, and eventually results in the death of all my
- characters. I get the dreaded scream-and-crossbones for each character,
- aigghhh...aiggghhh...aigghhh...aigghhh. When I see the floppy-access light
- come on unexpectedly, I know I have to save soon and re-boot.
-
- And, no, I am not running a pirated version. (I even have the FTL [swoosh!]
- sticker on my floppy-disk carrier. )
