- Hi.
-
- I've read a few FAQs but haven't found an answer to this problem yet.
-
- I downloaded several .SIT (stuffed) files for the Macintosh using my ST,
- and put them on a floppy formatted for the IBM PC. I used Apple File
- Exchange on the Macintosh to transfer them over to the Mac.
-
- When I then execute Unstuffit and select to unpack these archives,
- Unstuffit does not recognize these files. They transfer over to the Mac
- with a file type of "document", which is apparently wrong.
-
- Does someone know how to make Unstuffit recognize these files? Or, could
- a different method be used to translate these files to the Mac?
-
- Unfortunately, the Mac these files are going into doesn't have its own modem,
- so they have to be transferred indirectly via disk.
-
- Thanks for any help.
