- When you press <ESC> to update a directory window, the desktop forces the
- operating system to think that the disk has changed (just as though you
- had removed it and put in a new disk). This even happens for disks that
- really have not changed (like hard disks).

- Since MiNT has been told by the desktop that there is a new disk in the
- drive, it closes all files that were open on the 'old' disk, and prints
- a warning message to tell you this if there were any.
