- Most games definetly don't work due to various reasons. Sim City
- works, very few other games do, too. The TT will never become a
- game machine. If this is really your first question, you should
- think about purchasing a Falcon, because most game programmers will
- of course concentrate on that machine.

- Yes.

- They're still working on it.

- There's a System V R 4 from Atari Corp. containing X11/Motif and some
- other neat stuff. It has only two problems: The ASV package is rather
- expensive (in my opinion) and slow. But it is said to be quite stable.
-
- > 5. Are there any UNIXless X servers available for the TT?
- Yes, I saw a demo of a Xserver software on Atari fair, even on
- the 14" VGA screen in color. You could easily switch between TOS
- and Xserver mode.
-
- > 6. If you own a TT, what are your impressions of the machine?
- A good machine, but performance is lousy if you compare
- the performance/money relation with a NeXT. You should better
- look at the TT as a very fast ST and not as a workstation.
- Yet, MiNT makes the TT worthy again.
- Meanwhile, there are only minor compatibility problems left.
-

- TOS 3.06 is the latest release, however, everyone is waiting
- for TOS 4.0 + MultiTOS.
