  21. The 8n1/7e1 thing is EMACS's problem. I have run into exactly the same thing
  22. with a board that I connected to at 7e1. Apparently EMACS only runs in 8n1
  23. mode. I also found 'sz' and 'rz' wanted 8n1 as well. If you are running a
  24. shell account (I presume?) you could do a stty -evenp after you log on, then
  25. change your term program to 8n1 and you will be in 8n1 for everything. A pain,
  26. but better than using VI !!!!

  38. Apparently there is an ENGLISH version of Connect in circulation. As far as
  39. the program anyway (or is this what you have now?). I gave up on trying to get
  40. it run. I find Freeze Dried great (although I'm only running 2400).
