  15. LHarc DOES have a 'fast mode'  which involves simply 'storing' the
  16. files - so, I didn't bother testing it, as for archival purposes, it's
  17. use is very limited.

  19. I know that ZOO's lack of speed has been known for a while - and I
  20. never said it was a new discovery, I was merely showing it for
  21. comparison purposes.  Besides, there are always new users out there!

  23. ZIP's compression technique is not Lh5 - it has a completely different
  24. technique - which is basically 'Implode' except it tries harder!
