  25. 3) You bet.  This thing is designed for multitrack digital recording.  Each
  26. channel will have independent volume, panning, etc.  Of course, the sample
  27. rate will probably suffer as you go for more and more full-frequency output.
  28. A single stereo pair will be capable of 50KHz playback, but when you do
  29. 8-channel mixing, you might (I repeat MIGHT) be limited to 25KHz/channel or
  30. the like.  I don't know all the details on the DSP.
