  13. Could someone tell me what all the diferent 'v' protocols and the MNP
  14. protocols on modems do?

  18. V22, V32, V32bis, V42 etc.  and MNP 1 to 10 (if available)
  19. there are other V-protocols, like another 'bis' type (what does that
  20. stand for!?)
