- I'd really like to know why you and Dave keep harping on _D/A_
- conversion; for direct-to-disk recording I'd be a lot more concerned
- about _A/D_ conversion. Speaking of which, does anybody know
- _for_sure_ whether the Falcon has 16-bit A/D on board? One person
- assured me it did, but when he sent me a copy of the specs as given
- by Sam Tramiel, the point was actually ambiguous (the specs listed
- 16-bit _audio_ output, 16-bit _digital_ input). Note that the
- presence of a microphone jack does not imply 16-bit A/D (compare
- the NeXT: CODEC mic built-in, but for 16-bit A/D you need to buy
- extra hardware.
