  21. The e-protocol is faster but never use it. If you are using MNP4 or V.42 you
  22. have error correction between the modems and won't lose data between the
  23. modems. But what is with the cable between your modem and the dte (computer)?
  24. If you didn't use a very good isolated cable you'll lose data between the
  25. modem and the dte.
