So, Thomas (or anyone), what do you think about the Falcon's capabililities strictly as a sampler? This is what intrigues me the most (as opposed to
direct-to-disk recording), since my music is entirely electronic. Do you think the components are "up to snuff" for pro-quality (ambiguous term, I know) sampling? How might the sound differ from, say an Emax II ?
I'd love to see the Falcon equipped with appropriate software for the DSP, to
emulate something like the Kurzweil K2000, where you take a sample and mutate it
