- I've having a problem with emacs 18.57 and mint .095 (the newest one) on a
- new 1040STE. The Emacs is the one from the mint directory on a.a, as is
- Mint itself.
-
- Here's the problem - I can't get the arrow keys to work with Emacs -
- whenever I press an arrow key, Emacs only gets one character of the escape
- sequence - the first keypress sends a ^[, any other keypress after sends
- the following letter ('a' if I was using the up arrow, for instance) and
- then the key pressed as well. I have my TERM, TERMCAP and everything else
- set OK - I can use Emacs, it's just that the arrow keys don't work, and
- also presumabley anything else that needs a multiple character escape
- sequence to work. Any ideas would be most appreciated...
-
- Thanks,
-

- There's a Swedish saying that goes like this:
- "Det finns inget daaligt vaeder - bara daaliga klaeder!"
- If you translate that to (bad) English you get:
- "There isn't any bad weather - just bad clothes!"
