- Hmm, I should think that if they were going all the way (as they
- seem to be) it would be a needless crippling of the product to limit its
- bus to anything but 32-bits. And as (I think - no one has given a really
- in-depth spec. list yet) it is basically an accelerated proccessor, it should
- only have to specify its bus speed as a) it doesn't handle anything but the
- CPU bus and b) there aren't any components in the computer that can handle
- above 16MHz anyway (memory cache aside). Of course, if it had an extended
- series of VME slots, it would be cool. Especially if it were 32 bit VME.

- less supposing, and more discussing (I know _I'm_ guilty :).

- That would be nice - but we'd have to bulk-order the 68040s to make
- it anywhere feasable. They are _expensive_. BTW, this overdriving of the
- '040 could have some potentially nasty effects - I believe that Motorola has
- only released 33MHz spec. chips.
