- Yes, someone knows: it is just a mechanism that displays each lines
- twice so that
- you have a 640x240 screen displayed as a 640x480 (it is just like an y zoom) !

- On Multisync monitors, you're likely not to be able to display 640x240
- cause it is
- too slow for the monitor (or cause the image is not good: not enough
- points used and
- too many unused ). The line-doubling permits to use the 640x240 on this
- kind of
- monitor (it can be useful for compatiblity or for memory reasons)
