- >I< just use the "write" command of this BBS which writes a mail message
- or post as a seperate file in my user directory. (This BBS runs Waffle on
- an IBM.) Then I use the neat command called "MUFUD," which is a Waffle
- (plain old "any BBS"?) command that goes through my user directory and
- uudecodes and files in there it can. The only problem being the way the
- "Subject:" must be written. Atari Archive sends it as "part aa of aa" or
- something like that, and MUFUD only understands 1 digit letters or
- numbers and written a certain way. From there I simply type "edit" and
- the name I gave the file when I "write"'d it and then list all the lines
- near 20 (with different headers from different addresses, the "Subject:"
- isn't always on the same line) and then eventually edit the "Subject:"
- line to say somethng like: "Subject: filename.uue - Part 1/1". Then I
- use MUFUD. (BTW: when I type "edit filename" I get into the standard
- text editor on Waffle and am prompted, so I can chose to clear the file,
- add to it, insert in it, delete lines, list lines, etc.etc.etc.)
-
- Pretty cool, eh? Probably about the next best thing to simply
- FTPing! ;)
-
- Beat THAT! (I'm sure SOMEone will)
