- Well I've upgraded to an 800XL (from a ten-year old 800), and now realize
- my old copy of "Mapping the Atari" doesn't talk about the bank switching
- capabilities of the XL/XE series. Can anyone point me to a good reference
- on the subject (ANALOG, Antic, Compute! articles), especially with examples
- and what to watch out for? I want to turn off the OS ROM and use the RAM
- area for extra storage, but of course don't want the program to crash in
- the meantime (I'll be using assembly language, not BASIC).
-
- Thanks!
