  13. Well I've upgraded to an 800XL (from a ten-year old 800), and now realize
  14. my old copy of "Mapping the Atari" doesn't talk about the bank switching
  15. capabilities of the XL/XE series.  Can anyone point me to a good reference
  16. on the subject (ANALOG, Antic, Compute! articles), especially with examples
  17. and what to watch out for?  I want to turn off the OS ROM and use the RAM
  18. area for extra storage, but of course don't want the program to crash in
  19. the meantime (I'll be using assembly language, not BASIC).
