  12. I don't understand why you want a binary posting section.
  13. When I first became a member of Free Net I was crest fallen
  14. to learn that I couldn't D/L files directly.  Then I found
  15. BART which translated means
  16. Brouge
  17. Archive
  18. Retrival
  19. Thang
  20. According to the explanation, given by Free Net folks, the
  21. UNIX systems or other non ATARI systems
  22. in the net, involved in
  23. the Xfer of files, could corrupt to the ATARI files.  This 
  24. means that we might have more trouble D/L files than what we 
  25. now.

  27. Believe me it took me months to figure out how to get the 
  28. files UUDECODED which is an other post in itself.  But it was
  29. worth the effort and it was an opportunity for me to
  30. learn more about my machine.

  32. In case any one if confused by this talk of BART; just get
  33. on FREE NET and go to the ATARI SIG, file section and read 
  34. all about it.
