- I don't understand why you want a binary posting section.
- When I first became a member of Free Net I was crest fallen
- to learn that I couldn't D/L files directly. Then I found
- BART which translated means
- Brouge
- Archive
- Retrival
- Thang
- According to the explanation, given by Free Net folks, the
- UNIX systems or other non ATARI systems
- in the net, involved in
- the Xfer of files, could corrupt to the ATARI files. This
- means that we might have more trouble D/L files than what we
- now.
-
- Believe me it took me months to figure out how to get the
- files UUDECODED which is an other post in itself. But it was
- worth the effort and it was an opportunity for me to
- learn more about my machine.
-
- In case any one if confused by this talk of BART; just get
- on FREE NET and go to the ATARI SIG, file section and read
- all about it.
