  21. The networking scheme you seem to describe sounds a lot like The Multiplexer
  22. offered by Computer Software Services (CSS).  It consists of a collection
  23. of cartridge interface boards, allowing up to 8 Ataris to access the same
  24. drives and printers, and to talk to each other. Drop a line to Bob Puff
  25. or Chris Freemesser (sp?) for more info.

  27. BTW: the "Maze of Agdagon" networking scheme is not based on this device.

  29. Also: Jeff McWilliams: the "OS in EPROMs selected by switch" idea sounds a
  30. lot like the US+ OS Upgrade also by CSS.  The upgrade gives an XL/XE the
  31. old 800 OS, the XL OS, or a third OS which allows Ultra Speed serial I/O
  32. (with the proper disk drive) and bunches of keyboard-controlled modes.
