- I am in favor of having binaries posted for the following reasons:

- - more convenient than ftp'ing somewhere
- - new binaries and updates come right across the screen
- (don't have to ftp to there and figure out what is new
- or decide if you are interested)
- - more convenient for people to post binaries (hopefully
- more binaries will be posted)

- However, is it necessary to have a separate binaries news group. It
- used to be common for binaries to be posted right to this group. I am
- not against a binary news group if it will get binaries posted but is
- there a reason why binaries can not be posted here.
