- This is my first REAL posting to c.s.a.8 through News...
-
- About UTIL:
- It can write Binary/Ascii files on a SS/DD Mydos disk.
- It can read the directory, and format a new disk.
- It can also read Atari disks, but that is not recommended for the weak of
- heart... You have to create two disks containing carbon-copies of the
- disk you want to read. Then, when reading, you have to canstantly flip
- between them , since the IBM drive is horribly prone to even the slightest
- error on the disk.
-
- I recommend getting Omnicom or Kermit-65 on the Atari and use Kermit
- or Xmodem (Omnicom only) between the sparc and the Atari, via modem.
- My 2cents...
