  13. Nope, you can't use cartridges for 2600, 7800 on your XE game system.
  14. These two do come from Atari but they are entirely
  15. different systems.

  17. As far as I know, the XE game system is internally identical to
  18. the XE home computers. You could take cartridges that run on
  19. that system (800XE, 130XE).
  20. Software for the XLs will run without problems (800XL, 600XL).

  22. There are a lot of cartridges for it available second hand.
  23. You could go for any cartridge designed for the Atari 8-bit
  24. home computers, except for a few really old ones for the
  25. Atari 400/800. Some of them need a translator to run (i.e. software
  26. that replaces the XE operating system by the OS for 400/800s)

  28. I know that Daemon Attack from Imagic requires the old operating system.
