- Well, we seem to have some new readers of csa8, welcome.
- I've posted how to get Quick a while ago, I guess I should repost
- that message.
- You must know Quick is a piece of German software, so it's more
- difficult to purchase for American users than for Germans.
-
- Therefore I've asked the distributor of Quick and S.A.M.
- (Power per Post) about ordering and paying from abroad.
-
- Here's what they anwsered:
-
- 1. you have to send your order to
-
- Power per Post
- Melanchthonstr. 75/1
- Postfach 1640
- W-7518 Bretten
- GERMANY
-
- you do not need to know the ordering numbers nor the price. Simply
- write what you want. eg. Quick, S.A.M.
- Mention the type of your computer.
-
- 2. then 'Power per Post' will send a reply telling how
- much you have to pay.
-
- 3. go to your local bank and get an international money-order
-
- 4. send your money-order back to 'Power per Post'
-
- 5. wait for the stuff to come
-
-
- Ok, I admit it's quite a lot of work, but that's the way they want
- to handle it.
-
- -----------------
- BTW: Bill, you said that you got in touch with PPP by yourself.
- Did they gave you additional information about Quick and ordering?
