  15.     I'm an incredibly happy camper, having just hooked a SupraFaxModem
  16. onto my IIgs via super serial card.  Yes, my modem port is literally blown
  17. up, so it's the SSC for me.  I'm running ProTERM 2.2, and have been getting
  18. at least 9600 our of it, possibly a bit more, but there's so much more
  19. potential to be had.

  21.     Has anybody set one of these up on a similar configuration?  The SSC
  22. is set as modem, 19,200 baud, hardware handshaking on, and is connected to
  23. the modem with a BD-25 cable with all pins connected.  I installed this on
  24. ProTerm using a SSC and Supra 2400, but added a few nifties to it so that it
  25. would select the highest baud rate, speaker control, and the like.

  27.     Anyway, I can tell it's faster than my 2400 baud Datalink (for sale,
  28. by the way.  Offer me some money!), but it's not as fast as I'd like.  Any
  29. hints on how to check for proper handshake, a good init string, and the like
  30. are greatly appreciated.  If the SSC will run faster I'd also like info on
  31. how to do that, or what other cards might work better in this machine.
