  10. No one replyed to my original post about Seven Hill's Spectrum.  I am assume
  11. that no one saw the post.  Spectrum was listed on Apple's Opportunities for the
  12. Apple II's, which was published back in March.  It seems to be a GS specific
  13. telecom program.  Anyone have any information on it?

  15. I just ordered ProTerm.  Thanx to the people that replied about vt100.

  17. While ProTerm seems really nice, I always wanted to see a GS specific telecom
  18. program.  Some may say QuickDraw II is too slow for telecom...  how about
  19. ORCA's Prizm?  Prizm can scroll by one line as fast as the text mode, and
  20. scrolling by page is only slower by a little bit.  And the font is monospaced.
  21. Normally, the special Shaston 8 ( fastfont ) is the fastest.  But it's not
  22. monospaced, and scrolling by page is really slow when compared to Prizm.  The
  23. size of the font used in Prizm will allow at least 80x23.  Probably 80x25 if
  24. you don't use the menu bar & the window title.

  26. The program should go like this, the terminal window should take the whole
  27. screen.  With a vertical scroll bar on the right.  I don't think a horizontal
  28. bar is needed at all.  The menu bar should only come up when you move the mouse
  29. into that area.  It should support x, y, and z modem.  vt100, 102 is cool.  I
  30. personally don't like ANSI.  The splite screen of the Prizm would be very
  31. useful for quoting too!

  33. I hope Mike is willing to share his Prizm with Insync, or Paul ( ANSIterm )...
