- Ok, I give up...
-
- What's the deal with ProDOS 8 v2.0?
-
- Is it possible for us non-gs (ie: =*8-BIT*=) users to get a hold of that beast?
- I seem to remember last spring, when it was announced as being released both
- in system 6 gs and seperately from it (specifically for us =*8-bit*= users).
-
- If my memory was correct, where can I get it, hopefully at an ftp site?
-
- If my memory was faulty, or it just wasn't released seperately, why wasn't it
- released seperately? There are still 8-bit apples out there. The gs isn't the
- only apple ][ in the world.
-
- By the way, there is no known way for me to extract it from the system 6
- distribution available on ftp.apple.com. There is also no way for me to even
- verify that it is in system 6. Could some kind soul (maybe AT apple) put it
- someplace on ftp.apple.com seperate from system 6? For the benefit of those of
- us who are dedicated to using the apple ][, but too poor to afford a more
- expensive machine.
