  17. What's the deal with ProDOS 8 v2.0?

  19. Is it possible for us non-gs (ie: =*8-BIT*=) users to get a hold of that beast?
  20. I seem to remember last spring, when it was announced as being released both
  21. in system 6 gs and seperately from it (specifically for us =*8-bit*= users).

  23. If my memory was correct, where can I get it, hopefully at an ftp site?

  25. If my memory was faulty, or it just wasn't released seperately, why wasn't it
  26. released seperately?  There are still 8-bit apples out there.  The gs isn't the
  27. only apple ][ in the world.

  29. By the way, there is no known way for me to extract it from the system 6
  30. distribution available on ftp.apple.com.  There is also no way for me to even
  31. verify that it is in system 6.  Could some kind soul (maybe AT apple) put it
  32. someplace on ftp.apple.com seperate from system 6?  For the benefit of those of
  33. us who are dedicated to using the apple ][, but too poor to afford a more
  34. expensive machine.
