  11. Sorry if this is a FAQ, but:

  13. My mom has an ancient Apple ][+, whose parallel printer (a Mannessman
  14. Talley, reputedly IBM Graphics Printer compatbile) recently died.  So
  15. I told her to just hook our IBM Proprinter to print until she can
  16. replace the original one.

  18. But alas, it wasn't that simple. Any print job just hangs.

  20. So my question is this: What's the difference between the Apple and 
  21. Proprinter implementations of the parallel port? How do I get this to 
  22. work? Does anyone have any idea what's wrong?
