- it is traditional curtesy on Usenet that if one is asking for information,
- one collects it via email and then posts it after a couple of weeks. On
- the other hand, if one has a topic which they wish to discuss, the topic
- stays in public . Some groups seem to be ultra hyper in favor of this
- tradition - others seem to get bent out of shape against and others seem
- to be mellow enough to handle either.

- I would prefer to see us be mellow enough to allow folks of either ilk to
- proceed at their own pace. I personally prefer the email collection - frankly I
- get tired of seeing the same topic discussed 300 times a month.
