- Why is it that today I've seen 3 'please do not post, reply by email'
- requests? I've been noticing them more and more. Sure, some things
- should be done in email (such as flames, or frequently answered answers,
- or explaining something in greater detail), but the three I saw were
- general interest. My attitude: if you don't want to join the community,
- then you should not reap the benefits. There was a similar discussion
- like this in sci.electronics. Just thought of another example where it
- would be okay; if someone is posting for a friend.
