- Unknown - Now, that's real weird, as I can steer to both the left and right
- on my ROM01. Do you have a ZipGS? If so, try disabling it and see if Blue
- Helmet works better.
-
- Ian - I had a method to my madness, and apparently it worked.
-
- A few months ago, I made a pronouncement to my editor at inCider that I was
- tired of just reporting the news. I wanted to make some news of my own. I
- also said that I wanted inCider readers to be the first rather than the
- last.
-
- I think I succeeeded. The Bouncin'ferno contest qualifies, in my mind, as
- news. Or, at least newsworthy. Likewise, with Blue Helmet. I succeeded. Lots
- of people read my "Shareware Solutions" column and read about something
- they'd never heard of before. I gave readers first shot at getting Blue
- Helmet.
-
- Again, in my mind, that was different than most of my columns, where I talk
- about software you've all had for months and months.
-
- In any case, I think you may have a different opinion of inCider after
- seeing the October issue. For a number of reasons. My new column, Grapevine,
- is about telecomm, and I am attempting to get more folks interested in
- joining us here in c.s.a2. I am taking the approach, in Grapevine, that it's
- not just the pay nets (CIS, AOL, GEnie) that offer things of value to the II
- community. In most future columns, I will be writing about the net and how
- to access it. Also, notice that my Shareware column is bigger; I now have a
- full page.
-
- You'll also notice that Cynthia Field is now in charge of the Apple Clinic Q
- & A column. It's much more accurate and informative now.
-
- inCider has also added Dean Esmay (Sysop of GEnie's A2, editor of Resource
- Central's A2-On-Disk and Studio-City) as a Contributing Editor, and Matt (I
- speak for myself, not Apple) Deatherage also now has a column in inCider.
