  15. I can't answer all of your questions, but I do know that MFS originated with
  16. the original 128k Mac, and I think was discarded for HFS around the time of
  17. the Mac 512 and System 4.0.  A way you can probably use the disk on the GS is
  18. to take a Mac running System 5.0 or later; format a disk under the Finder;
  19. copy the FILES from the MFS disk to the newly formatted HFS disk.  Then you
  20. should be able to read the disk as well as the files.

  23. read MFS as well.  Oh well...
