- I can't answer all of your questions, but I do know that MFS originated with
- the original 128k Mac, and I think was discarded for HFS around the time of
- the Mac 512 and System 4.0. A way you can probably use the disk on the GS is
- to take a Mac running System 5.0 or later; format a disk under the Finder;
- copy the FILES from the MFS disk to the newly formatted HFS disk. Then you
- should be able to read the disk as well as the files.
