- Really? The finder already gives an error identifying the disk in the
- Apple 3.5 as a MSDOS volume. It seems as though any MSDOS FST aught to
- find the same thing.
-
- : Hey, neat idea! Unfortunately, I think this falls into the "too hard"
- : basket. The main problem is that the MS-DOS hard drive file is a file
- : on a ProDOS volume. You would therefore have to have the MS-DOS and
- : ProDOS FSTs interacting with each other. Ugly!
-
- Hey it may be too hard for Apple but there is something that can
- access and read MSDOS Hard drive-files called DOS2GS. You can copy files
- and stuff like that.
-
- : Another problem: you can have a split MS-DOS volume covering two
- : files. There isn't any easy way to associate these files with each
- : other (no standard naming conventions; they don't even have to be on
- : the same drive).
-
- Yeah, that is a real problem.
