- The problem here could be with vi. I sometimes use teletype 4425 (don't
- laugh too hard) terminals to use vi on an Amdahl mainframe. The arrow keys
- will not work, even though my terminal emulation is set to vt100.

- What I would suggest (and it would be easier for you to maneuver around
- your text once you have the commands memorized) is that you use the letter
- keys (h,j,k,l) to move around...
