  36. As stated above, you can still get AmDOS, and if you only want to use 
  37. 3.5" drives, it is cheaper than DOS Master so might be preferable.

  39. DOS Master works with hard drives also. I don't own it, but have read through
  40. the manual.  It makes DOS 3.3 volumes _inside_ of ProDOS volumes on hard 
  41. disks.. and also works on 3.5" disks.. whether it uses a special method for
  42. 3.5" disks or treats them as just prodos devices I do not know.  I mention that
  43. since ProDOS 8 also includes a program to split 800K 3.5" disks into two 400K
  44. "DOS 3.3" volumes.

  46. Note that UniDOS, AmDOS, and DOS Master are incompatible with each other..
