- Idea #1: stop trying to use the arrow keys. h/j/k/l work, and they don't
- require you to take your fingers off the keyboard.

- Idea #2: map ^V<arrow> j (i.e. type "map ", hit Ctrl-V, hit the down-arrow
- key, type " j"). This tells vi to explicitly map an arrow to a key. You
- can also do this from a .exrc or EXINIT shell variable.

- Idea #3: make sure your UNIX termcap's definition of an arrow key matches
- ProTERM's idea. This is system dependent.
